Vollux Autowerks hosted an incredible spring Dyno Day event featuring over 30 vehicles and an amazing lineup of vendors, including AutoDecks, Mirror Image Detailing, JAM Graphics and Printing, Liqui Moly, Shade and Shine Window Tinting, JCole Photography, Lehighton Ford, and more. The Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company also brought one of their trucks to showcase—a vehicle they maintain using professional car care products from Vollux Autowerks Detailing Store.
Mike, the detailing manager at Lehighton Ford and a proud member of the Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company, drove the fire truck to the event. When Dave from Vollux Autowerks introduced us, Mike immediately connected with our custom skateboard decks. He mentioned that his son, Cody, had recently purchased a BMW M4, and he thought a custom deck would be the perfect birthday gift.
As fate would have it, Cody arrived shortly after with his car for a dyno run. While waiting for his turn, he explored the vendor displays and stopped by the AutoDecks booth to ask about a custom deck featuring his vehicle. His dad appeared right behind him—and that's when the surprise was revealed. Cody turned around to see his father standing there with a knowing smile.
I reached out to Josh Cole from JCole Photography, one of my favorite collaborators, who captured stunning images of Cody's BMW M4. With those photos in hand, I partnered with Isaac from JAM to bring the vision to life. The result is a one-of-a-kind custom skateboard deck that celebrates Cody's passion for his car.
